It's a beast of a watch, however, and the 51mm case will be too much for most people. It's certainly not unisex. You get GPS built-in, and there's an SpO2 sensor which does spot checks, and if you opt-in, night and daytime blood oxygen monitoring. It will track stress, and we love the Body Battery feature that studies your readiness for exercise, and can guide you as to when to have a rest or go hard on a session. All the sports tracking metrics are pretty basic, so you won't get many of the VO2 Max and deep insights you'll find on the Forerunner or  The watch itself also lags the Vivoactive 4 and Venu and Venu 2 in terms of build quality.It's a plastic build, boxy design. Garmin watches seem to love industrial styles, and this watch is no exception to the rule. With its size comes a large screen with X resolution. The fenix 6X Pro comes with color street and topo maps that can be viewed right on the watch. This is a huge deal when navigating new routes or finding your way on the trails. It also comes with a barometer for elevation tracking. Garmin has built some nice climb and elevation tracking features into the watch.Wrist heart rate monitoring is standard. And like past versions, the 6X Pro has Garmin Pay — pay for things directly with your watch. It can also store music up to songs and one of the few watches that syncs Spotify playlists. Advanced metrics are monitored like cadence, fitness level, and fitness recovery time. Battery performance is pretty awesome. But new to the fenix 6X is Power Manager. You can download multiple watch faces and apps for a customized display.It has Garmin Pay for on-the-go payments. And it combines a touch screen with a single button to control the watch. For lefties, you can flip the phone upside down to move the button to the opposite side. This model is a more affordable option to the pricey fenix 6, but still comes with a large batch of features for running and working out. In addition to tracking time, pace, and distance, the vivoactive 4 and 4S have auto-pause, advanced workouts, and downloadable training plans.LiveTrack is available — this feature allows friends and family to track your location on a map in real-time, great for trying to find you in big races. The Garmin Vivomove 3 looks similar to the Garmin Vivoactive 4 at first glance, but is a hybrid smartwatch, meaning it has an analog face, with hands that move out of the way automatically to display smartphone notifications and fitness stats on a hidden digital display.It's a great-looking watch, though lighter on fitness features than the Vivomove. The Garmin Lily is designed specifically for women, with a super slim design that's a big departure from the typical chunky design of most smartwatches. You can receive smartphone notifications through the Lily, it packs an impressive range of activity-tracking profiles, and there's a pulse ox sensor as well.It also puts women's health features front and center; Garmin's period-tracking app is installed as standard, and available with a quick tap of the smart monochrome display.Unfortunately, there are some major setbacks, the most significant of which is the lack of on-board GPS. Instead, you have to connect the Lily to your phone and allow it to piggyback off your handset's satellite positioning.It works well, but is a shame for anyone who wants to walk, run or cycle without being dragged down by a bulky phone. There's also no on-board music storage, or support for contactless purchases via Garmin Pay.Its a shame, because the Lily is a lovely device.
